"Room 316," I said as I headed toward one of the elevators. "You feelin' better at all?" I pressed the button to go up and waited for it to come down for us.
((((ooc; sorry for shortness))))

Tyson shrugged and nodded, heading onto the elevator and pressing the button for her floor. "Yeah." He said quietly, wondering why he was even doing all this. Helping a criminal escape the law was hardly on his to-do list, but it felt good. For some reason, he liked it.

I wait for the elevator to reach the top; rising up and down on the balls of my feet. I regulate my breathing. The elevator's too small, and it obviously doesn't have a single window. "Start talking," I said to Tyson. "Say something to keep me distracted." I know that I need at least a few minutes for him to keep me from freaking, my room was on the fifth floor and this elevator was sooooooooo slow.

"Okay..." Tyson said with a smile. "Well, this is a nice place. I'm just glad you're moving in though." And he instantly regretted that last part. He had to counter it... "It'll be nice to have someone sane around the house." He joked, laughing. But Douglas was pretty much normal. He just had to counter what he had said. "Anyway, I think you'll like Doug. He's a character..." Tyson sighed, thinking about his brother and shaking his head. He did have a fascinating family, for sure. Where was Douglas anyway? With his new girlfriend, probably.

It was so weird, it semed like this guy was always on edge. What was wrong with him? He could barely string two words together, let alone a normal sentance. But, his little odities had kept me distracted enough to survive the elevator and the doors were now sliding open with a 'ding.'

Tyson hurriedly stepped out, holding his arm across the doors of the elevator so it didn't close on Whitney. He then followed her to her room, trying to remain as silent as ever. After all, he had to stop acting so childish. She was just his new roomy for a little while, nothing serious. And as he thought about it his mind wandered to the previous weeks. Harrald. Oh goodness no. He had completely forgotten about he in a poor attempt to avoid her, and avoid breaking her heart, while still attempting to remain his secretive and mysterious self. He had completely forgotten about Harrald.

Tyson was a strange kid, strange indeed. He reverted from his rambling speech to a more silent self so often that I couldn't help but wonder if he was bipolar. When I got to my room I opened my door with the key and started to gather up my things. Most of my stuff was skattered throughout the room and because of this hard to pick up. I cursed my messy habits. Before Tyson came into the room I swiped up any underwear off of the floor, trying not to embarrass myself. If I just weren't so messy!

Tyson shook his head as he entered the room. If his new roomy had these same messy tendencies, he'd have a field day convincing Doug to let her stay. Tyson's brother was probably going to react in the most undesired manner possible. Chancing a look out the window, he sighed. It was getting late and Douglas would be home soon. With his new girl, no doubt. He frowned again. Now what would he think if Tyson brought a cute girl into the apartment. He'd think that Tyson was, of course, a two-timing little man with a secret side. Which apparently he was. He hardly recalled his last conversation with his girlfriend. Oh, how he was still missing her. Every second he thought about her, Whitney seemed less and less important. Maybe he could call things off, since Harrald didn't seem to want to do so herself. Maybe a dinner. Shrugging off any ideas for now, Tyson stood in the middle of the room wondering whether or not he should help gather her things.
